Pigeon Point BeachA 30 second walk north from Bay Guesthouse is our next door beach, (see picture right). A walk to the end of this beach is Pigeon Island (a St Lucia National Park with snorkelling, hike the hills to see Martinique and visit the gardens and picturesque ruined buildings from the Anglo French wars).

Gros Islet seafront

The Area: Bay Guesthouse offers a holiday in a Caribbean Village next to St Lucia's finest beaches and is the perfect base to access other areas of interest on St Lucia Island. Within Gros Islet itself are local restaurants, internet cafes, a post office and convenience stores. Come and enjoy the Gros Islet Jump Up, the Friday night street party.  Gros Islet is a local fishing village, in the authentic Caribbean style. The local bus stop is a 5 minute walk away. From here a 3 minute ride takes you to the Rodney Bay Marina, (banks, internet cafe, restaurants, shops and bars). A 5 minute ride takes you to Reduit Beach (a tourist hotspot, another nice beach, tourist restaurants, a supermarket, internet cafes, nightlife, laundry and many other local facilities), or a 20 minute ride to Castries (St Lucia's Capital city for shopping, banking, restaurants, etc.)
