The four nights we spent here were amazing. Will and Steph are great folks with one of the best spots to stay on the beach. Thanks to both of them for making us feel so welcome and being so helpful. As luck would have it we 'bumped into' another Canadian couple who we know from home, totally by chance. As much rum punch and piton beer as we could consume carried us to the streets for the weekly Jump Up street party, where dancing in the streets continues to the wee hours of the night.

The Bay Guesthouse will always be recommended to our like minded friends.

Bay Guesthouse has been a fantastic spot for us to stay over the last 6 weeks. the location on the seafront is absolutely perfect and Gros Islet is an amazing village in which to get a  feel for St Lucia. The communal lounge is a fantastic area in which to meet other guests and sitting in the hammock drinking a Piton while the sun sets is a perfect way to end the day. This is bar none the best budget option on St Lucia. the hosts are wonderful and the guesthouse is incredibly welcoming. Gros Islet is an awesome little town and the people are friendly. St Lucia is a good way to visit the Caribbean without the tourist traps.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for the hospitality at the Bay. I really enjoyed just chilling out after a hectic month of research and 'sand investigation'!
The Bay is a great location and the views I experienced were truly awesome. Missing the Piton beer and the view of Pigeon Island whilst eating breakfast.
I very much look forward to returning to St. Lucia and exploring once again.
